In 2015, Daikin came to us with a potential project for a customer of theirs. The 18th Century cottage in the countryside had 11 rooms but the current heating system consisted of only 4 Electric Heaters. We were asked how we could helps to heat the entire home as well as keep the installation and running costs down.

• Daikin Altherma Air Source Heat Pump Installation
• Daikin Hot Water Cylinder Installation
• Full heating circuit installation
• Removal of existing heating system
• Traditional column radiators
• MCS Certification with Renewable Heat Incentive Support
• Energy Performance Certificate

Why they chose us

We were recommended to the customer by Daikin, a manufacturer we use for most of our air conditioning and heat pump needs and although the customer looked into other options for his heating system we were able to offer a full design service for the system, MCS certification and ongoing support. Although the customers’ budget was limited, as they often are, we were able to offer traditional column radiators to suit the 250 year old property and ensure that a modern heating system was able to blend in to the period features of the property.

Commissioned in May 2015 the system has run without hitch and has been serviced by us twice since its commissioning. Since the system was installed the customer has saved an estimated £3,509.76 through energy savings & the Renewable Heat Incentive.
